- 2003-Global Alliance started application for an Angolan Insurance license
- 2004-Global Alliance started application for a Ghanaian license
- 2005-Global Alliance was licensed in Angola with a composite license
- 2005-Global Alliance was licensed in Ghana with a short-term license
- 2006-Global Alliance was licensed in São Tomé with a short-term license
